Greenbuild 2012 Honors CNY Leaders

At the U.S. Green Building Council's 2012 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo Joanie Mahoney, Onondaga County Executive; Nancy Cantor, Chancellor and President, Syracuse University; and Stephanie A. Miner, Mayor of Syracuse each received the 2012 Global Community Leadership Award for their collective and collaborative efforts to foster substantive change across the Syracuse and Central New York landscape. 

 

Central New York's Export Initiative

The Onondaga County Office of Economic Development has partnered with other CNY economic development organizations and the Brookings Institution to develop an Export Initiative. This plan will offer opportunities to our local businesses to enter into or grow in international markets. The plan will integrate market intelligence, export-related services, and policy reforms to help the region better connect its firms to global customers.
