The 17th IBE of the Sesame Network is scheduled for Parma Italy, June 15-18, 2004.
The IBE will focus on a variety of topics of interest to the global community including business exchange meetings in industry clusters: Agrifood -preservation and packaging of foodstuffs, Fashion, Cultural tourism (up-market tours, i.e. arts, music, wine), and Biomedical.
In addition to industry cluster meetings, issues of importance to city managers will be discussed including: The innovative administration serving the citizen using new technologies, Rehabilitation of historical buildings, Sustainable mobility-mass transit, and The City as promoter of cultural services.
Special programs are also planned for University Presidents and Chamber Presidents.
During the 3-day event you will have an opportunity to establish business contacts and experience cultural events of the host-city.
The IBE begins with a reception on Tuesday evening at 6:30 and ends with a dinner and closing ceremony on Friday night. During the 3 full days of the IBE you will have an opportunity to meet with businesses from the Host City, each of the member and guest cities and experience the culture of Parma.
