Agrana Fruit US Planning $50M Facility: Agrana Fruit US Inc. will invest more than $50 million in Lysander to build a fruit processing plant that will employ up to 120 people. Agrana, a global company that makes fruit preparations for the dairy industry, chose a site on Sixty Road in Lysander's Radisson Corporate Park for the manufacturing and distribution plant. Read More

Jadak, Medical Manufacturer, Expanding: Jadak Technologies, a maker of barcode scanners for the medical industry, plans to more than triple the size of its headquarters in Northern Onondaga County and create 60 jobs over the next 5 years. Read More

Central New York lands $103.7 million in State Economic Development Money: As part of Governor Cuomo’s NY Open for Business policy initiative, 10 regions across New York drafted 5-year strategic plans and competed for millions of dollars in Economic Development Awards. The Central New York Regional Economic Development Council’s plan was chosen as a “Best Plan”. The council’s plan included 30 projects and requests for $40 million in state funding. Onondaga County and Syracuse are recognized by the EPA as a Top 10 Green Community: The EPA has announced that Onondaga County and Syracuse have been chosen as one of the 10 communities nationwide to be a Green Infrastructure Partner.
